Extension of MicroInvest submission deadline for self-employed

2020欧洲杯新网址Due to disruptions caused by COVID-19, Malta Enterprise is extending the primary deadline for self-employed persons to submit their MicroInvest application from 24th March, 2020 to 30th April, 2020.  Applicants are still urged to submit their applications at the earliest possible so that the evaluation process can still function efficiently.

Malta Enterprise and Universita’ di Salerno to set-up joint business incubator in Malta

Malta Enterprise and Universita’ degli Studi di Salerno (UniSA) signed a cooperation agreement to support a new concept model called ‘Economy of the Mediterranean’ (MED) which will lead to the setting up of a joint business incubator for start-ups in Malta.

The aim of the Memorandum of Understanding between ME and UniSA is to promote and support research, development and innovative projects in Malta. The business incubator will serve as a hub for the transfer of technology and knowledge as well as attraction of new investment in Malta and the Mediterranean region.

Junior College students visit 4A Games

Leveraging a unique educational approach that goes beyond classroom lectures, fourteen IT students from Junior College visited multinational video game developers 4A Games with the aim of gaining insights into how real life companies operate.

The initiative was driven by Malta Enterprise in collaboration with Junior College with the aim of building relationships between academia and the real business world.

Malta Enterprise partners with T-Systems in offering Blockchain Ecosystem

Malta Enterprise and T-Systems have signed an MOU to offer Blockchain Ecosystem services for companies setting up their blockchain project in Malta.

The signing, which made Malta Enterprise the first partner for the T-Systems Blockchain Ecosystem, took place during Digital X, Europe’s biggest cross-sectoral digitalization initiative.

T-Systems will offer its business customers a "Blockchain Ecosystem" from 2020. The new marketplace provides secure, compliant and rapidly deployable blockchain services.

Stakeholder workshop for establishing an export credit guarantee facility in Malta

2020欧洲杯新网址Malta Enterprise, with the support of the European Commission through the SRSP (Structural Reforms Support Programme) and Euler Hermes, organised a workshop with the objective of presenting results of a study to identify export credit guarantee products and the target operating model best-suited to be introduced in Malta. The workshop provided business representatives and key stakeholders with an opportunity to discuss and share their views prior the final report due to be presented by end November 2019.
